A British No5 MK1 2nd type Jungle carbine knife bayonet, manufactured by Royal ordnance factory POOLE and dated 1946, the clipped point bowie type blade is 196mm(7 3/4") marked at the ricasso with maker and date, wooden grips with two screw bolts, the 1st type only had one bolt, working spring catch, the pommel top is marked with the WD arrow and B, it is complete with it's original steel scabbard retaining most of it's original finish, it is fitted with a P37 webbing frog, the grips have a notch cut in each one on the spine edge, the general condition is very good.
