A nice British Victorian P1876 Martini-Henry socket bayonet, the tri-angular blade is 550mm(21 1/2"), marked at the ricasso with WD and arrow, Enfield inspection mark, blued steel socket with working locking ring marked with the sale mark of back to back arrows, nice original blued finish, it is complete with it's original leather scabbard with two brass mounts, the mounts have the WD mark and Enfield inspection marks, the frog stud has colonial re-issue mark, the blade is excellent having most of it's original factory polish with only a few small patches of light age speckling, the scabbard leather and stitching are good, the general condition is excellent.
