BY411 £120.00 Stock Status: In Stock Add to your Wish List Description A British Victorian Scottish Rifles/ Cadet Corps P1888 MKI 2nd type bayonet, for the Lee Metford rifle, the slightly shortened double edged blade is 276mm(11") marked at the forte on one side with several date and inspection marks, including 1903 mark, the other side has the WD and arrow and bend test marks with Birmingham inspection mark on the short spine, working spring catch, unit issue mark on the pommel M above 3 S R on one side and back to back arrows and CC (Cadet Corps) on the other side, the bayonet is clean with some wear and light speckling on the steelwork, the general condition is good. No Scabbard.
