An original German WW2 Luftwaffe Boot/Trench fighting knife, the blade is 155mm(6") with a number 6 Luftwaffe inspection mark at the ricasso, I guess it has probably been slightly shortened and re-pointed, steel cross piece, nice wood grips secured with three steel rivets, it is complete with it's original black painted steel scabbard which has some period field grey camo paint finish on the face, the spring clip is missing from the back, looks like it has snapped off, the blade has some normal age/service wear, and the scabbard has a small but sharp ding on the back, 100% original and the condition is reflected in the price.
