A scarce Japanese 1897 Type 30 Arisaka military training school bayonet, no markings on the bayonet, it has a lighter blade than the service issue model, the wood grips are retained by two alternating screws, the blade length is 385mm(15 1/4"), the spring catch is working, it is complete with it's original black painted steel scabbard, with a number 6 painted on the front, the general condition is very good.
