A scarce Prussian made Danish KYHL'S spring lock socket bayonet, for the Suhl rifle, used by the rebel Slesvig Holstein army circa 1848, the tri-angular blade is 485mm(19 1/4") to the elbow, the socket is 67mm, it is engraved 1855_2440, it also has what could be a unit mark, it has inspection marks on the elbow and socket rim, the catch is working, it is clean with speckling/light pitting overall. No Scabbard.
